A Yorkshire Terrier called Lucy has been named the world’s smallest working dog by the Guinness Book of World Records.

Lucy, who is just 5.7 inches tall and weighs only 2.5lbs, was recognised for her work as a therapy dog for the Leashes of Love programme.

Dogs working under the Leashes of Love programme visit hospitals, nursing homes and special schools in Smithville, New Jersey.
