A to Z of Dogs

A trucker and his nine-month-old Yorkie were reunited two days after the dog slipped out of the long-haul truck at a rest-stop.

The trucker, Michael Siau, left the rest-stop in Hannibal, MO, assuming that the ironically named Rambo was asleep in the back. It wasn’t until he got to Cedar Rapids, Iowa that he realised Rambo wasn’t there.

Two days were then wasted because a distraught Siau called police in LaGrange, wrongly believing that they had jurisdiction over the rest-stop. Once he realised his mistake, he contacted the Hannibal Animal Unit who picked Rambo up within three hours. The loyal dog was found patiently waiting for his owner at the rest-stop.

Siau was reunited with Rambo on his trip back through Missouri.
